Our Food Pantry Programs
The Geary County Food Pantry partners with organizations to help families and individuals access free and nutritious foods.
The Geary County Food Pantry provides food to families and individuals that are food insecure, regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. The Pantry is also capable of providing food in emergency situations. Food is distributed to provide families or individuals with three meals a day for two days. Families with small children are provided food to meet the needs of the children.
Please provide a Household Form and picture ID.
Request for help can be submitted once in any 30-day period.
The Food Pantry also partakes in The Emergency Food Assistant Program (TEFAP). TEFAP provides free USDA commodity foods. It is income-based, persons who work but have low income, as well as those who do not work, are eligible for this program. TEFAP distributions occur every other month. Call us for more information or when the next TEFAP event is.
The Food Pantry also partakes in the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP). CSFP serves a food package to persons 60 years of age or older and is available to those who are income eligible. CSFP distributions occur every month. Call us for more information or when the next CSFP event is.
